Mary Ginnane is a pharmaceutical marketing consultant with an eye towards innovation.    As Operations Manager at GlaxoSmithKline’s Global Marketing Analysis and Commercial Support group, she was responsible for all United States marketing and sales analytics delivered from an offshore vendor, Genpact, based in Bangalore, India.

Ginnane’s success is due to her expert understanding of the many pharmaceutical data sources, tools and technologies, her firm belief in sound business practices, and her solid relationships with clients.  While at GSK, Ginnane built a key network of partners by leading and managing user communities of two separate business intelligence analytical tools (SAS and Microstrategy), each with over 100 users.

Prior to taking on the large scale, outsourcing program at GSK in 2008, and after completing a Masters in Business Administration with a minor in Health Care Management in 2006, she  led a team of programmer analysts to support sales and marketing with custom, ad hoc reporting. 

The unique nature of ad hoc reporting allowed Ginnane to work across a wide variety of pharmaceutical markets e.g., diabetes and Asthma and specialties e.g., Vaccines and Oncology.  Deliverables include:  sales incentive and goals analysis, targeting lists, marketing studies and promotional campaign analysis.

Ginnane was also exposed to a broad array of tools, technologies and external data sources residing on various platforms including a large consumer level Teradata warehouse, retail prescription data from Wolters Kluwer in a SAS/Oracle environment, and flat files of non retail data from IMS.
